Job Title: Warehouse Executive

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Executive at Promea is responsible for managing warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, compliant storage, handling, and distribution of raw and packing materials. This role includes overseeing inventory management, logistics coordination, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of pharmaceutical raw and packing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements in all warehouse activities.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement inventory control measures to reduce discrepancies and stockouts.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments, including batch numbers, expiry dates, and other relevant details.
  • Implement proper storage conditions and temperature controls to maintain product integrity.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, equipment, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with quality control and regulatory affairs teams to support product sampling, testing, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Implement security measures to protect inventory from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to warehouse management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control and regulatory requirements (GDP, GMP).
  • Familiarity with automated warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
  • Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
