    Position: Virtual Medical Scribe (Remote)
    Company: AQuity Solutions, an IKS Health Company
    Location: Remote (US Residents Only)
    Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (3-4 days a week, no more than 30 hours per week)
    Hours: 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday
    Salary: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour (varies by location and qualifications)

    Role Overview:
    As a Virtual Medical Scribe, you will work from home, supporting medical providers by documenting patient visits in real-time. Your role is crucial in reducing physician burnout, improving clinical documentation accuracy, and allowing physicians to spend more time with their patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately document patient medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, and other relevant details.
    • Record physician findings, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments.
    • Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation for laboratory tests and medications.
    • Maintain and manage EHR/EMR system records using platforms like Epic, Athena, and Cerner.
    • Facilitate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and other professionals.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a medical or pharmaceutical-related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical documentation or as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
    • Proficient in medical terminology and EHR/EMR systems.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (at least B2 level).
    • Strong typing skills and ability to work with technology.
    • Ability to work 8-to-10 hour shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
    • Access to a secure, private workspace and high-speed internet connection (no satellite internet).
    • Compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
    • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Recent clinical experience or college-level coursework in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
    • Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus but not required.
