Position Title: Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMHT)

Location: Remote (within Oregon/Washington)

Salary Range: $40.22 - $59.93 per hour

Position Summary: As a Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide high-quality behavioral health care to Legacy Employees and their dependents (adults and adolescents) through our telehealth platform. You will employ evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoanalysis. Your role will involve establishing trusted relationships with patients, coordinating care with primary care providers, and collaborating with other behavioral health professionals and community resources as needed.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years post-training experience required

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active medical licensure in Oregon required (preferred to be licensed in both OR & WA) in one of the following:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with patients for acute and ongoing behavioral health needs via remote platforms
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
  • Perform psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations
  • Develop and implement coordinated treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Utilize strong communication and customer service skills
  • Complete charting on a timely basis, including diagnosis, CPT codes, and other billing and compliance elements; communicate clinical information to PCPs using approved workflows
  • Document patient medical and behavioral health histories, medications, and allergies
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge of psychotherapy and social work practices
  • Provide care appropriate to adult patients, demonstrating the ability to obtain and interpret information to meet patient needs
  • Adhere to safety rules and report any unsafe activities, conditions, or violations
  • Perform other related duties as required
