Job Description & Requirements:

  • Pay Package: Based on 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness, legality, and completeness.
  • Provide clinical consultation and clarify any concerns with prescribers before dispensing medications.
  • Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately.
  • Enter prescriptions into pharmacy software and ensure timely verification of finished orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication information and expected outcomes.
  • Conduct chart reviews for prescription refills and manage medication therapy.
  • Provide drug information and staff education related to drug therapy.
  • Oversee pharmacy support personnel and ensure quality control within the department.
