Travel Outpatient Pharmacist Opportunity in Wrangell, Alaska

Licensure Requirements:

Position Overview:
As an Outpatient Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role within the pharmacy department, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and distributing medications in compliance with Federal and State laws.
  • Providing patient counseling and education regarding medications.
  • Advising medical, nursing, and village staff on drug therapy.
  • Selecting and maintaining an appropriate drug inventory.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

You will work professionally, respect confidentiality, and uphold the Standards for Service Excellence outlined in the SEARHC Human Resources Manual.
