Job Title: Transplant HemOnc Medical Science Liaison
Location: Varies (Travel up to 70%)


Company Overview:

IQVIA, in partnership with Mesoblast, is building a new team to support the education of a product aimed at treating children with steroid-refractory acute graft versus host disease (SR-aGVHD). We are looking to hire three Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) with expertise in transplant or hematology/oncology to facilitate scientific discussions within these therapeutic areas.


Position Overview:

As a Transplant HemOnc Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for initiating and facilitating scientific dialogues with clinical physicians, staff, and other key stakeholders in the transplant oncology/hematology market. This role involves supporting the medical relations strategy, providing clinical data to healthcare professionals, and collaborating with internal teams to share scientific information and support product education.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Medical Relations and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) on investigator-initiated trials.
  • Serve as an internal medical and scientific resource, developing strategic communications and supporting product information.
  • Share scientific information with internal stakeholders and support Healthcare Provider (HCP) advocacy through peer influence programs.
  • Maintain and communicate a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and messaging.
  • Present clinical data to healthcare professionals, including physicians, academic institutions, researchers, and other HCPs.
  • Assist in regional speaker bureau or online training programs related to scientific information and products.
  • Attend medical congresses to build relationships, develop advocacy, and represent Mesoblast.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced clinical/medical degree (Pharm D, MD, PhD, or Masters) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in transplant or hematology/oncology required.
  • Prior MSL or relevant experience strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Up to 70% travel required.
  • Proven success track record and expertise in discussing scientific content to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams, and other support technologies.
