Role: Therapy Lead OTC

Objective:
To identify, prioritize, and successfully launch new products while ensuring sustained growth and presence of existing products in the Indian pharmaceutical market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Expansion:

    • Identify gaps in the product portfolio and propose new product ideas based on unmet needs and international trends.
    • Conduct risk-benefit analyses and finalize product prioritization with the vertical head.
  • Product Launch:

    • Review and validate go-to-market strategies for new products.
    • Oversee the execution of launch plans to ensure market success.
  • Sales and Budgeting:

    • Plan sales strategies and budgets for existing products.
    • Set growth targets and monitor market performance to identify potential opportunities.
  • Brand Strategy:

    • Formulate strategies for existing brands and oversee their execution.
    • Implement corrective actions based on market feedback and performance.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
    • Leverage feedback to refine product strategies and strengthen brand presence.
  • Leadership and Team Development:

    • Guide and mentor the team through goal setting, performance evaluations, training, and development.
    • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the team’s performance and capability.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • MBA, preferably with an undergraduate degree in a science-related field.

Experience:

  • 9–10 years of experience in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching at least one new product.

    • In-depth knowledge of the Indian pharmaceutical market, diseases, and therapeutic areas.
