Job Overview

The Territory Sales Incharge will focus on driving secondary sales, merchandising, and building long-term relationships with retailers in their assigned territory. This role includes achieving sales targets, distributor management, and ensuring product visibility and branding.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Distribution

  • Cover retail outlets within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and daily POB (Point of Billing) targets.
  • Ensure repeat and frequent orders from retail outlets.
  • Manage distributors effectively to optimize sales performance.

Retail and Merchandising

  • Open new outlets and ensure successful product launches.
  • Execute merchandising and store branding initiatives.
  • Implement retail and distributor schemes and calculate incentives accurately.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Use mobile reporting for daily attendance and sales updates.
  • Ensure proper execution of POB and other secondary sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of sales experience in FMCG, Pharma, or OTC industries.

Skills Required

  • Strong product understanding and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the local geography and fluency in the local language.
  • Distributor management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Basic calculation skills for retail and distributor schemes.
