Job Summary

The Medical Dermatology Territory Manager will be responsible for promoting Sun Pharmaceutical’s dermatology portfolio and maximizing business opportunities within targeted physician offices, clinics, and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. This role requires the Territory Manager to excel at developing and implementing business plans that achieve sales goals and integrate strategies with both the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees. The position focuses on driving product adoption and business success in the designated geographical territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement business plans that lead to the achievement of sales goals within the medical dermatology segment.
    • Promote Sun’s dermatology products to healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field-based employees (e.g., Field Reimbursement Managers) to drive product adoption.
    • Leverage CRM, sales data, and reports for effective decision-making and business execution.
  • Customer Engagement & Education:
    • Engage healthcare professionals by educating them on the benefits of Sun’s dermatology portfolio.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to increase product acceptance and utilization.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Manage promotional budgets and provide timely sales, call, and expense reports.
    • Ensure that sales goals are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively, innovate, adapt, and achieve results.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in medical dermatology sales.
    • Experience in selling products in complex Market Access environments.
    • Experience in promoting high-science products and launching new products.
    • Proven success in a highly competitive sales environment.
