Job Summary

The Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting and optimizing Sun Pharmaceutical’s branded dermatology products in physician offices, key clinics, and medical dermatology institutions. This individual will demonstrate excellence in developing and executing territory business plans, achieving sales goals, and ensuring effective product promotion. The role includes working closely with the HQ Commercial Team (e.g., marketing) and field-based employees (e.g., field reimbursement managers) to drive product acceptance and support the business in a designated territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve sales objectives.
    • Promote dermatology products in targeted physician offices, clinics, and institutions.
  • Collaboration & Integration:
    • Coordinate with the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees to promote Sun’s products effectively.
    • Leverage CRM tools and sales data for strategic decision-making.
  • Customer Engagement & Education:
    • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, offering product education and scientific insights.
    • Work closely with various stakeholders to drive product adoption in the territory.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Complete timely call and expense reporting.
    • Manage promotional budgets within the designated territory.
    • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.
    • Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
    • Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt, and deliver results.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in medical dermatology sales.
    • Familiarity with complex market access environments.
    • Product launch experience.
    • Experience promoting high-science products.

    • Strong ability to adapt and drive results in a competitive sales environment.
