Job Summary

The Medical Dermatology Territory Manager will be responsible for promoting and optimizing Sun Pharmaceutical’s branded dermatology portfolio within physician offices, key clinics, and medical dermatology institutions. This role involves developing and executing territory business plans aimed at achieving sales goals, while collaborating with both the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees. The Territory Manager will work to drive the adoption of Sun’s dermatology products within a designated geographic area.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve sales objectives for dermatology products.
    • Promote products to healthcare professionals and institutions specializing in medical dermatology.
  • Collaboration & Integration:
    • Coordinate with the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees (e.g., Field Reimbursement Managers) to drive product acceptance.
    • Leverage CRM tools, sales data, and reports to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Customer Engagement & Education:
    • Engage with healthcare professionals to educate and promote Sun’s dermatology products.
    • Establish strong relationships to increase product adoption within the designated territory.
  • Administrative & Reporting:
    • Submit timely call and expense reports.
    • Manage promotional budgets effectively within the territory.
    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
    • Ability to collaborate, innovate, and adapt to achieve results.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in medical dermatology sales.
    • Experience in complex Market Access environments.
    • Product launch experience and the ability to sell high-science products.
    • Proven success in a competitive sales environment.
