    Job Description

    Position: Production Operator
    Location: Dr. Reddy’s Manufacturing Facility, Middleburgh, NY
    Pay Rate: $22 - $24 per hour

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • cGMP Compliance:

      • Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and regulatory requirements, including federal and state regulations, to maintain high-quality production standards.

    • Equipment Operation:

      • Monitor, operate, load, and unload production equipment as directed. Ensure proper functioning and safety protocols are followed at all times.

    • Cleaning & Hygiene:

      • Clean operations equipment as necessary, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards to support product quality and safety.

    • Documentation:

      • Accurately sign operations documentation, including batch records, equipment logs, and other relevant paperwork, to maintain proper traceability.

    • Production Scheduling:

      • Read, understand, and interpret the production schedule to ensure timely execution of production activities, meeting targets.

    • Process Optimization:

      • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting ways to enhance departmental efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

    • Additional Duties:

      • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead or Coordinator to ensure smooth production operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Qualification:

      • High School Diploma or Graduate.

    • Experience:

      • Minimum 2 years of operator experience in a similar GMP pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

    • Skills & Attributes:

      • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and GMP standards (preferred).
      • Ability to read and understand production schedules and instructions.
      • Ability to handle and move 200+ lb containers using cranes.
      • Experience in maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
      • Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators and masks.
      • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stretching, stooping, and hand motions.
      • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills.
      • Willingness to cross-train in other areas.
      • Flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings, and nights as needed.
      • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
