KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Supervisor, Production - Encapsulation at Teva, you will be responsible for overseeing the Encapsulation area within the Production Department. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and Upkeep of Encapsulation Area: Supervise and maintain the encapsulation section in the production area to ensure smooth operations.
  • SOP & Documentation Review: Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other manufacturing documentation.
  • SAP R/3 System Management: Handle manufacturing-related transactions in the SAP R/3 system.
  • Investigation of Deviations: Prepare and review investigations related to deviations, Out-of-Specifications (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), market complaints, and exception reports.
  • Quality Management System: Initiate, review, and assess the impact of Quality Management Systems during investigations, such as Change Controls, CAPAs, and Risk Assessments.
  • Equipment Qualification: Sign documents related to equipment qualifications as a business owner.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Review and ensure compliance, calibration, and preventive maintenance of encapsulation machines in the production area.
  • Glorya EDMS Activities: Perform tasks related to the Glorya EDMS system.
  • Batch Manufacturing: Perform and review batch manufacturing activities according to Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) instructions.
  • Production Planning and Execution: Handle daily production planning and execution in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Coordination with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with other departments for smooth execution of production processes.
  • Material Storage Management: Manage material storage areas to ensure proper handling and compliance.
  • Compliance with cGMP: Ensure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in all production activities.
  • Training & Development: Train and develop staff, ensuring they meet identified training needs for effective execution.
  • Safety & Work Culture: Promote a disciplined work culture and enforce safety precautions within the production area.
  • Inspection Readiness: Manage and ensure the readiness for regulatory inspections and ensure compliance during internal and external audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvement projects on the shop floor and adopt best practices in production processes.
  • Data Integrity Compliance: Ensure compliance with data integrity standards as per laid down procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education:
    • B.Pharm / M.Pharm
  • Experience:
    • 4-7 years of experience specifically in the encapsulation process within pharmaceutical production.
