Job Overview:

As a Statistical Scientist at IQVIA, you will lead complex studies and submissions, contributing to protocol development, case report form (CRF) reviews, analysis plan creation, and statistical report writing. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients on study protocol and statistical analysis issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Quality Deliverables: Ensure the production of accurate and timely deliverables by overseeing teams and proactively driving efficiency.
  • Leadership: Lead statistical discussions, manage project timelines, and support colleagues to deliver on study objectives. Facilitate internal project team meetings and oversee multiple studies within a compound.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Write and maintain programming specifications and manage analysis datasets. Program and check complex Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs), ensuring consistency.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering statistical guidance and overseeing study activities. Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, lead study-level escalations when necessary, and support risk management strategies.
  • Database Lock and Unblinding: Lead the lock and unblinding processes, ensuring all statistical considerations are met.
  • Financials: Collaborate on financial aspects of studies, controlling costs, maximizing revenue, and ensuring budget compliance.
  • Proposals: Contribute to the creation of study proposals and attend bid defenses.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biostatistics or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis, ideally in clinical research.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of SAS and other statistical software.
    • Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical research regulatory requirements.
    • Expertise in CDISC/ADaM data standards.
    • Ability to lead teams, handle multiple tasks, and manage complex problems.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
