Description:

In this role, you will provide expert pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient base, ensuring timely and accurate dispensing of medications, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with healthcare teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare medications for dispensing, including order entry, filling, and packaging.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Ensure medications are appropriate based on patient allergies, interactions, and medical history.
  • Provide guidance to patients, doctors, and nursing staff on medication inquiries.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order medications, and ensure products are available for timely delivery.
  • Supervise and provide feedback to pharmacy technicians on performance.
  • Log medication errors and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, and a valid State Pharmacist License.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in pharmacy operations.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with pharmacy operations systems.
