Guardian Pharmacy, LLC, through Mullaney's Pharmacy & Home Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join its growing team in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities

Medication Preparation and Dispensing

  • Accurately prepare medications for dispensing, including filling, packaging, and order entry.
  • Verify the accuracy and legality of prescriptions, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
  • Manage and review cycle-fill medications and completed orders.

Patient and Provider Interaction

  • Answer questions from patients, doctors, and nurses regarding prescriptions and medications.
  • Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies when required.

Regulatory and Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Log and address any medication errors.

Inventory and Cost Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
  • Identify cost-effective alternatives for out-of-stock items and communicate with clients/facilities.

Team Oversight

  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and provide performance feedback to their supervisors.

Requirements

Education and Licensing

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted State Pharmacist License.

Experience and Skills

  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, with experience in pharmacy operations systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

  • Weekly 4-day schedule with 10-hour shifts.
    • Morning shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Evening shifts: 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM
