    Position Overview

    Designation & Level: Senior Research Associate (SRA-1/SRA-2) (S3/S4)
    Location: Greater Noida
    Department: Synthesis

    We are looking for a Senior Research Associate (SRA) to join our Synthesis Department. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel intermediates and drug discovery entities. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a team, manage safe reaction processes, and contribute to innovative chemistry projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Synthesis & Purification: Synthesize, purify, and characterize novel chemical intermediates and entities for drug discovery purposes.
    • Chemical Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of organic chemistry, functional group conversions, and multi-step synthesis.
    • Retrosynthetic Analysis: Basic understanding of retrosynthetic analysis (preferred).
    • Reaction Safety: Ensure safe execution of all chemical reactions and maintain adherence to lab safety protocols.
    • Analytical Expertise: Analyze and interpret data from NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry.
    • Lab Techniques: Skilled in techniques such as TLC, column purification, and extraction.
    • Computational Tools: Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and structure drawing software like ChemDraw or ISIS.
    • Research Skills: Conduct literature searches using tools such as SciFinder.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to drive projects forward and achieve project goals.
    • Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and provide project updates and presentations as needed.

    Person Profile

    Qualifications:

    • M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or a related field, or M. Pharma.

    Experience:

    • 5-10 years of relevant industry experience with a leading CRO or in a drug discovery environment.
    • Proven experience in organic synthesis and analytical techniques.
