This is your chance to be part of an organization that is globally recognized as the Best Place to Work for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023). At Novo Nordisk, we are driven by our mission to help people living with diabetes, obesity, and other chronic conditions. Join us today and be part of this life-changing journey.

About the Department:

Novo Nordisk South Korea is experiencing high growth, with a strong focus on providing life-changing products to people with serious chronic diseases. Recently certified as a Great Place to Work in the APAC region, we are committed to Business Ethics, Compliance, and Quality. Our Legal, Compliance & Quality (LCQ) department plays a crucial role in ensuring we meet these standards, and this position will report to the Head of Legal, Compliance, and Quality, managing a team dedicated to supporting Novo Nordisk’s mission and values.

The Position:

As a (Sr.) Medical Information Specialist, you will serve as the medical expert, providing accurate and timely medical information to external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals (HCPs). You will also play a critical role in reviewing and approving promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Medical Information: Offer accurate and compliant responses to medical inquiries about Novo Nordisk products, and develop medical content (e.g., standard response letters) for external distribution.
  • Medical Review & Approval: Conduct medical reviews of business-related materials, ensuring the content is balanced, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will review materials across various channels, including digital platforms, and provide final approval.
  • Staying Updated on Medical Knowledge: Attend internal and external meetings (training, educational sessions, medical congresses) to stay informed on current medical/scientific information and industry trends.
  • Scientific Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on promotional and non-promotional materials, providing scientific advice on brand messaging, ensuring content accuracy, and supporting approval processes through data validation and expert negotiation.

  • Knowledge of medical information processes and relevant regulations is essential.
  • Computer literacy and a strong ability to analyze and synthesize emerging scientific data are required.
  • A customer-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Working at Novo Nordisk:

At Novo Nordisk, we are not just waiting for change — we are driving it. As a dynamic company in an even more dynamic industry, we recognize that what got us to where we are today is not necessarily what will make us successful in the future. We embrace the spirit of experimentation and constantly strive for excellence without fixating on perfection. Join us to be part of a company that values growth, innovation, and improving patient care on a global scale.
