Role Description:

The Sr. Manager - API Plus is responsible for driving sales and business development (BD) for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) in the Latin American (LatAm) region. This role requires a strong focus on achieving sales targets, managing customer relationships, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and staying updated on market trends. The Sr. Manager will also be tasked with managing accounts receivables and ensuring smooth documentation and registration processes for customers in the region.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Drive sales and business development for APIs in the LatAm region, aligning with the budget and targets set for the year.
  2. Cross-Regional Coordination:

    • Harmonize and coordinate different commercial efforts across the region to ensure business continuity and the smooth functioning of sales operations.
  3. Account Receivables Management:

    • Manage and track account receivables in the LatAm region, ensuring timely payments and minimizing financial risks.
  4. Customer Interaction:

    • Engage with existing and potential customers through market visits and online meetings to build relationships, understand customer needs, and drive business growth.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Production, QA, Regulatory Affairs, IP, and SCM) to facilitate documentation, regulatory requirements, and customer registrations.
  6. Market Insights:

    • Stay updated with market dynamics, export/import trends, and regulatory changes in the LatAm region to ensure the company remains competitive.

Relevant Experience:

  • 10 to 12 years of experience in sales, business development, and account management within the pharmaceutical or API industry, ideally with experience in the LatAm region.

Education Qualification:

  • B.Sc., B. Pharma, or B. Tech
  • MBA (Master of Business Administration)
