    Role Overview

    The Senior Data Scientist within Technology and Intelligent Solutions plays a key role in delivering high-quality data science solutions and innovative products that drive business success. This role requires a blend of statistical, machine learning, and programming expertise to support the company’s data science initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Data Science Solutions Development:

      • Apply statistical models, machine learning techniques, and NLP (Natural Language Processing) for real-world applications.
      • Design and implement forecasting and statistical models, optimizing for real-time problem-solving.
      • Lead the development of advanced algorithms for classification, clustering, and model optimization.

    • Machine Learning & Deep Learning Expertise:

      • Implement and optimize ML/DL models using tools like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
      • Use probability density functions (PDF) and cumulative distribution functions (CDF) to improve model predictions.

    • Programming & Engineering:

      • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and R.
      • Develop and deploy machine learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and other platforms.
      • Profile and optimize code for performance and memory efficiency in production environments.

    • Team Leadership & Collaboration:

      • Lead and manage a team of data scientists, driving deadlines and project milestones.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven solutions that meet business goals.

    • Cloud & Data Engineering Tools:

      • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, SageMaker, NoSQL) and tools like Hadoop, Git, Spark MLib, and Docker.
      • Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights.

    • Continuous Learning & Innovation:

      • Stay current with advancements in data science, NLP, and machine learning techniques.
      • Contribute to ongoing improvements in the development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning models.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in applying statistical and machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
    • Strong background in programming (Python, C/C++, R) and using ML/DL toolkits such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.

    Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure) and data engineering tools.
    • Experience with NLP tools such as NLTK, spaCy, and Flair.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools and Big Data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark MLib.

    Additional Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong ability to lead teams and manage deadlines.
    • Experience in deploying models to production environments, optimizing for runtime and memory.
    • Ability to communicate complex data science concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
