Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to manage systems such as LIMS, Empower, and RPA. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to plan and implement projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and using data analytics to drive process improvements and optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and document project scope, including conceptual design solutions.
  • Map business processes and recommend automation and optimization strategies where applicable.
  • Work with the quality team to transition manual operations to digital solutions using the latest technologies.
  • Execute tasks and produce deliverables according to the project plan.
  • Coordinate and support project phase activities at rollout sites as per the rollout validation plan.
  • Contribute to project objectives and deliverables, including reviewing validation documents and preparing risk assessments.
  • Identify technical solutions and business process improvements in alignment with IT and business needs.
  • Develop system design and functional specifications in collaboration with end users and solution providers.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and scope, following change management processes.
  • Support hardware and software procurement for project resources and prepare and revise SOPs as needed.
  • Analyze system issues in LIMS applications, escalate with business partners, and ensure necessary documentation and compliance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical aspects related to application functionalities.
  • Review and confirm release notes from vendors and support evaluation, verification, and testing of application updates.
  • Train team members on LIMS applications and SOPs, and participate in validation activities like IQ, SAT, and UAT.
  • Support Master Creation and application during inspections and audits.
  • Manage LIMS system administration, including user account management, system maintenance, and performance checks.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Attributes

  • Technical Skills:

    • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and related quality management software.
    • Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques for deriving insights from quality-related data.
    • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing self-reliance and autonomy.
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
    • Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a performance-oriented approach.
