Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst - Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to execute and deliver high-quality market research projects. These projects will span various aspects of market research, including both secondary (Pivotal) and primary research (as needed), social listening, and data analytics. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in insight generation and data visualization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research Execution:
    • Lead and manage market research projects from start to finish, ensuring the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of deliverables.
    • Partner with stakeholders for project planning, execution, and insight generation.
    • Communicate project results and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
  • Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct secondary desk research, epidemiology research, and competitive intelligence analysis.
    • Utilize syndicated databases such as IQVIA, IPSOS, Kantar, Euromonitor, PubMed, and clinicaltrials.gov for data collection and analysis.
    • Contribute to pipeline analysis, clinical trial analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and business opportunity identification.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Collaborate with external agency partners for data collection and ensure data integrity.
    • Provide context for findings from market research, utilizing prior research and secondary sources for deeper insights.
  • Data Interpretation & Reporting:
    • Extract valuable insights from complex data sets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
    • Present findings through data visualization and detailed reports.

Desired Profile:

  • Experience:

    • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and therapy areas.
    • Hands-on experience with secondary desk research and epidemiology research. Experience with primary market research is a plus.
    • Familiarity with syndicated databases such as IQVIA, IPSOS, Kantar, Euromonitor, and others.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
    • Knowledge of competitive intelligence, clinical trial analysis, social media listening, and business opportunity analysis.
    • Expertise in data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Other Requirements:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering accurate and high-quality results.
