About the Role:
Indegene is seeking a Senior Accounts Director to drive business growth and manage client engagement efforts across global healthcare solutions. In this front-line leadership position, you will work closely with clients to understand their priorities, deliver tailored solutions, and manage the full sales cycle across Indegene’s suite of offerings. Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ business priorities, product portfolios, pipelines, budgets, and organizational culture.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, while identifying new opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling strategies.

  • Manage the full sales cycle in collaboration with internal service line partners, pre-sales, and finance teams.

  • Maintain accurate client and opportunity data in the CRM system; generate account plans and oversee marketing outreach and engagement efforts.

  • Lead structured and compelling client conversations to drive new programs, including commercial model development and business case creation.

  • Support the Client Partner in engaging new buying groups and identifying renewal opportunities.

  • Manage RFP/RFI processes by coordinating with solutioning teams and subject matter experts to ensure timely and cohesive responses.

  • Support complex, integrated, and multinational solution sales with Client Partners and Service Line Heads.

  • Facilitate effective governance across ongoing opportunities and lead engagement reviews.

  • Ensure seamless handoffs to customer success and delivery teams for consistent service execution.


Required Qualifications:

  • 6–8 years of experience in solution/services sales or account management in industries such as pharma, technology, BPO, consulting, or agencies.

  • Preferable background in pharmaceutical industry models (clinical, commercial, medical), and familiarity with digital transformation and customer experience strategies.

  • Strong consultative selling skills including analytical thinking, problem-solving, process design, and relationship management.

  • Demonstrated ability to sell independently and collaboratively within a larger sales structure.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, able to work cross-functionally with stakeholders like finance, pre-sales, and delivery.
