Job Title: Specialist, Learning Media and Communication

Division: Research and Development (R&D) / Worldwide Patient Safety (WWPS) / Compliance, Quality and Learning (CQL), PV Process Excellence and Learning Strategy (PV PELS)

Functional Area Description: WWPS ensures medication safety through pharmacovigilance and pharmaco-epidemiology, covering safety monitoring, reporting, risk assessment, and compliance with global regulations. PV PELS develops learning strategies and process standards for WWPS, facilitating innovative pharmacovigilance initiatives.

Position Summary / Objective: The Learning Media and Communication Specialist supports PV PELS and WWPS by optimizing media assets used in training and communications. This involves analyzing media effectiveness, implementing optimization strategies, ensuring quality, collaborating with teams, overseeing production, analyzing data, and contributing to communication development.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Media Analysis:
    • Evaluate multimedia content effectiveness in training and communication materials.
  2. Optimization Strategies:
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance media impact.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct quality assurance checks on multimedia content.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate media elements effectively.
  5. Media Production Oversight:
    • Provide guidance in optimizing media content for various platforms.
  6. Data Analysis:
    • Analyze engagement and effectiveness of media elements.
  7. Technological Integration:
    • Stay updated on multimedia development technologies and trends.
  8. Communication Development:
    • Contribute to internal and external communication strategies.

Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Instructional Design, or related field. Advanced degree/certification in Media Production or Instructional Design is advantageous.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in media analysis or multimedia development. Proficiency in multimedia production tools/software and familiarity with pharmacovigilance principles and regulations.
