Position Overview

The Senior Therapy Development Specialist will be part of our Structural Heart (SH) division, focusing on developing relationships with physicians and site-specific stakeholders to support clinical trial enrollment and therapy awareness. This role will involve working closely with investigators, research coordinators, and other medical professionals while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and stakeholders to achieve clinical trial enrollment objectives.
  • Define strategies to drive enrollment at clinical trial sites to meet targets.
  • Establish touchpoints with investigators and research teams to streamline patient screening activities.
  • Identify and address barriers to enrollment while ensuring site productivity.
  • Develop relationships with cardiologists, surgeons, and key stakeholders to bridge gaps across clinics.
  • Track enrollment progress and identify trends in customer and research staff needs.
  • Organize referral meetings and educational activities for clinical trial awareness.
  • Engage with site investigators, hospital public affairs, and neighboring hospitals to promote clinical trials.
  • Coordinate communication to prioritize enrollment activities and ensure successful procedural outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and clinical trials.
  • Occasionally take calls on evenings and weekends for time-sensitive needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Sciences, Medicine, or related discipline highly preferred).
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Field-based experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong background in both sales and clinical research is a plus.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate educational programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with cath lab procedures and protocols.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time based on business needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac medical procedures.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $85,300.00 – $170,700.00 (Pay may vary by location).
