Introduction to the Role:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Statistician II with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to work independently on the design, delivery, and interpretation of complex statistical analyses. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative statistical methods, guide less experienced team members, and collaborate across functions to drive key decisions in preclinical and clinical programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Statistical Expertise: Provide statistical support for complex designs and interpretation of preclinical or clinical programs, regulatory submissions, and commercialization strategies.
  • Analysis and Modelling: Analyze internal and external data, perform modelling and simulation, and develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) for complex studies.
  • Regulatory Support: Contribute to regulatory submissions, identifying opportunities to improve study design through modeling and simulation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Therapeutic Area scientists and other cross-functional partners to ensure the statistical integrity and success of studies.

What You'll Need:

  • Education: MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (with a significant statistical component), or equivalent.
  • Programming Skills: Competent in statistical programming with experience in SAS and R.
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and reporting on preclinical or clinical studies across multiple settings.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex statistical findings clearly.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels within Biometrics and across other departments.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to apply statistical expertise to address complex problems and improve study designs.
