Introduction to the Role

Are you ready to unleash your imagination, follow the science, and explore new frontiers? We are seeking a Senior Statistician I with strong academic qualifications and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work independently on standard activities while collaborating with more experienced statisticians on complex studies and analytical tasks. Your role will encompass study-level support, including set-up, conduct, analysis, and reporting.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Statistician I, you will:

  • Provide statistical support for standard study designs and data interpretation.
  • Undertake the design and analysis of complex studies under guidance and offer statistical support for broader programs.
  • Apply modeling and simulation techniques to inform study design.
  • Develop Statistical Analysis Plans for study and project delivery.
  • Produce analyses, supporting graphics, and analysis tables for standard studies.
  • Contribute to methodological improvements and provide practical solutions for challenges encountered.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (with a substantial statistical component), or a recognized equivalent.
  • Proficient in statistical programming (SAS and R).
  • Knowledge of key technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in the design, analysis, and reporting of preclinical or clinical studies across multiple settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to apply statistical expertise to solve problems.
  • A quality-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
