Position Overview:

As a Senior Safety Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating closely with teams in Safety Data and Digital Support (SDDS), including Front Desk, Support & Training, Validation, and System Management teams in DD&IT.
  • Understanding business requirements by combining your technical and analytical expertise with a deep business understanding and data knowledge.
  • Proactively using your development skills to guide users in optimizing solutions and services.
  • Coordinating and communicating effectively with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure the successful delivery and support of the solutions you’re responsible for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Intelligence Solutions: Develop BI solutions, leveraging tools like Qlik Sense (preferred) and other BI tools, to support decision-making within Global Patient Safety.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of business needs.
  • Process Optimization: Drive process improvements and optimize existing IT solutions, ensuring seamless service delivery and supporting safety data analysis.
  • Leadership in Projects: Lead projects that involve multiple team members and stakeholders, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant Engineering/Technology field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions, with a track record of successful BI projects (preferably with Qlik Sense).
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Proven ability to implement innovative improvements in IT solutions, processes, and methods.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a quick learner, with the ability to understand complex business and data challenges.
    • Experience in leading projects and developing processes involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with Qlik Sense or other BI tools and programming languages.
    • Experience in the Pharma or Medical Device industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Our team uses cutting-edge technology, including Qlik Sense, MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agent, and is exploring advanced analytics like AI, Text Mining, and Machine Learning to gain better insights and drive patient safety efforts.
