Senior Promotional Copywriter

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented professional with expertise in copywriting and medical writing, capable of developing medical content and market access materials for pharmaceutical brands. This role involves working directly with one of our major pharmaceutical clients and developing promotional copy content for brand deliverables in the medical industry.

The primary responsibility is to create promotional communication content by translating complex scientific data into compelling promotional material. Creativity, innovative thinking, and problem-solving are key attributes for success in this role.

You may also be required to develop medical and scientific communication content, ensuring regulatory compliance and utilizing medical literature references. Additionally, the role may involve developing market access content.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations, with content supported by authentic and up-to-date references.

  • Develop and update content for various commercial assets with a focus on omnichannel implementation, including:

    • Digital channels (banner ads, emails, sales rep materials, social media content, websites)

    • Printed material (posters, slide kits, patient guidelines, leaflets, conference materials)

  • Review digital modules and assets created by the local team for medical accuracy, including referencing and language expertise, while meeting client satisfaction metrics and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with the graphic design team (on copy and content needs) and coordinate with the brand and production teams on briefs, workshops, and project deliveries.

  • Ensure adherence to assigned processes, guidelines, SOPs, and use of client-specified tools and platforms.

  • Follow best practices in communication, project management, documentation, and technical requirements such as language, grammar, content search, summarizing, data conflicts, and referencing.

  • Participate in training programs and work on assignments as required.

  • Attend client calls and ensure quality, confidentiality, and security compliance in all deliverables.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Education: M. Pharm/BDS/MDS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical companies.

  • General knowledge of respiratory & cardiovascular, renal & metabolic, and oncology fields.

  • Strong flair and passion for writing.

  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

  • Passion for networking and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ability to stay current with the latest scientific and technical developments and apply them to various projects.

  • Client-oriented attitude, focused on building long-term client relationships.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.

  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and timeline-driven with the ability to multitask.

  • Experience working in a multinational company within a matrix environment.
