We are currently seeking a Senior Pharmacovigilance Project Manager to manage projects ranging from simple to complex, providing valuable insights into how various areas impact each other.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Customer Contact & Leadership:

  • Act as the primary project manager for a portfolio of Pharmacovigilance projects, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and project teams, managing time, scope, cost, quality, and resources.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring timely deliverables and adherence to timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, vendors, and third parties with minimal supervision, collaborating with functional leads to optimize performance.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead client and internal meetings, including approval of agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Present project status updates during internal reviews and financial meetings.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Pharmacovigilance proposals and lead bid defense processes.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and tools aimed at driving process improvements within the team.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure continuous improvements.

Project Delivery & Finance:

  • Oversee project delivery to ensure it aligns with contracts, delivering on-time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage the Project Management Plan throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing task prioritization and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare status reports for clients and leadership.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and invoice approvals, ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of timelines and budgets for senior management and clients.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance as a Project Manager.
  • Experience working with a CRO or Pharmaceutical company is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
