Summary:

Establish a thorough business understanding to deliver BU-focused leadership interventions, global initiatives, culture change, and other relevant activities. Provide end-to-end People & Organization (P&O) experience, focusing on moments that matter for leaders, managers, and associates. Act as a trusted advisor, offering in-country policy expertise and guidance on all P&O topics.

Key Responsibilities:

Transformation:

  • Lead and oversee in-country transformations, including negotiations with works councils/unions.
  • Provide guidance to managers on restructuring processes and associate lifecycle events.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and policies while executing organizational changes.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Culture (DEI&C):

  • Handle diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at all levels, including gender representation, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and pay equity.
  • Promote psychological safety and activate business ownership of DEI initiatives.
  • Support corporate culture initiatives such as Hybrid Working and Employee Value Proposition.

Project Management:

  • Participate in large-scale business unit projects with cross-divisional/global scope.
  • Lead the implementation of corporate initiatives like Evolve, Go Big on Learning, and Workday.
  • Design and deliver P&O initiatives in line with the overall strategy.

Capability Building:

  • Drive effectiveness and continuous improvement of People Partnering processes.
  • Conduct workshops to enhance people management capabilities for managers.
  • Lead career and development conversations, identifying capability gaps and solutions.

Employee Lifecycle & Compliance:

  • Act as the first point of escalation for leaders and managers on day-to-day P&O topics.
  • Guide leaders through employee lifecycle processes such as Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), restructuring, legal cases, and talent development.
  • Drive compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and local labor laws.

Data & Analytics:

  • Promote data-driven decision-making by leveraging insights on risk and trends.
  • Use analytics to develop talent solutions and improve organizational effectiveness.

Coaching & Mentoring:

  • Coach managers on role evaluations, team effectiveness, and leadership skills.
  • Mentor People Partners on navigating complex business challenges and P&O processes.
  • Collaborate with global People Partner teams to maintain consistent standards across regions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 to 12 years of experience in Human Resources (HR), preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • MBA in HR or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English.
