Summary

As a Medical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing Medical Affairs strategies for a designated Therapy Area. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Medical Affairs plans, providing scientific insights, supporting clinical studies, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and regulatory stakeholders. You will be instrumental in enhancing our impact within the medical community by fostering collaboration and driving excellence in medical affairs activities.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Support:

    • Align the country medical affairs strategy with global objectives, country-specific insights, and market conditions.
    • Implement Medical Affairs activities effectively within the designated therapy area.
  • Event Coordination:

    • Organize and coordinate scientific meetings, symposia, congresses, and Continuous Medical Education (CME) events.
    • Develop and execute engagement plans for country-specific customer-facing activities and events, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
  • Inquiry Management:

    • Respond to medical and scientific inquiries in a quality and timely manner.
    • Create and maintain response documents for frequently asked questions.
  • Clinical Research Support:

    • Provide medical/scientific input for clinical trial activities, including study initiation, oversight, and execution.
    • Support non-interventional studies and Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) within the therapy area.
  • Material Review:

    • Review and approve medical and promotional materials, ensuring they meet local needs and adhere to guidelines.
    • Tailor global or regional materials for partner engagement and events as required.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Provide medical insights to cross-functional teams, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality Assurance, and Commercial teams.
    • Support risk identification and mitigation planning, and implement internal controls.

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational Background:

    • MBBS or MD with a minimum of 1 year of industry experience.
  • Experience and Skills:

    • Expertise in operations management, project execution, and clinical trial design.
    • Strong knowledge of medical science, disease areas, and medical education.
    • Experience with non-interventional studies and epidemiology studies.
    • Proficiency in medical governance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Background in Cardiovascular therapy is preferred.
