Position Overview

The Senior Medical Information Associate plays a critical role in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products by providing timely, scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and non-promotional information. This position is customer-facing and responds to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. Additionally, it plays an essential role in post-marketing handling of adverse events and product complaints. As part of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team, you will ensure client success through global inbox management, case processing of adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage global inbox and process adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries.
  • Conduct data entry and triage for reports and inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers.
  • Identify adverse events and product complaints during data entry of medical inquiries.
  • Write and file adverse event and product quality complaint reports.
  • Coordinate processes for responding to quality-related complaints, interacting with client managers as needed.
  • Oversee medical communications operations and drug safety activities as specified by management.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide ongoing training.
  • Monitor work processes related to global inbox activities to ensure compliance with client performance requirements.
  • Perform quality monitoring and peer reviews for the global inbox team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Pharm.D, Master of Science (M.Sc), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or any other Life Sciences degree.
  • Experience: Excellent documentation skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
