Role Overview:
Teva is seeking a Senior Manager, Medical Affairs to serve as the local medical contact for assigned therapeutic areas. This role involves providing medical and scientific support for current and future products and managing issues related to existing medications. The position requires close collaboration with regional and local functions to ensure the execution of the overall medical strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical and Scientific Support:

    • Serve as the local medical contact for assigned therapeutic areas.

    • Provide medical-scientific support to product managers, collaborating on marketing strategies and plans.

    • Offer strategic and tactical medical support for commercialized products and help manage issues related to medications.

  • Collaboration with Regional Directors:

    • Work closely with Regional Medical Directors to support the coordination and execution of general medical strategies from pre-launch through post-launch.

  • Cross-Functional Integration:

    • Collaborate with commercial, regulatory affairs, R&D, and pharmacovigilance teams.

    • Contribute to clinical research and ensure alignment with business needs and company policies.

  • External Engagement:

    • Act as a medical-scientific liaison with clients, opinion leaders, medical societies, the scientific community, and the academic community.

    • Participate in training the Medical Prompting, Sales, and Marketing teams for assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Strategic Decision-Making:

    • Contribute to the strategic decisions and implementation within the assigned therapeutic areas, taking into account global, regional, and local product strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • University degree in health careers (e.g., Medicine).

  • Experience:

    • At least one year of experience in pharmaceuticals or as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is desirable.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in English (advanced level is a must).
