What You Will Do

As the Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Amgen's brand both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing internal and external communication strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Creating compelling content to showcase Amgen India’s journey and innovations, fostering thought leadership and audience engagement.
  • Managing social media platforms, internal communication channels, and organizing events such as town hall meetings.
  • Providing issues management support to ensure accurate and fair representation of Amgen India’s activities.
  • Streamlining branding and content assets and maintaining standard operating procedures for Corporate Affairs.
  • Generating reports to track content performance and derive insights for continuous improvement.

What We Expect of You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, international relations, or a related field with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in mass media, communications, or journalism with 10 to 14 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Diploma in mass media or communications with 14 to 18 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare communications is a plus.
  • Proven media relations experience and familiarity with social media trends.
  • Expertise in creating and executing strategic communication programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex topics.
  • Experience using internal communication and social media tools effectively.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
