We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Medtech team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on market research (including both primary and secondary research), competitive analysis, clinical trial analysis, financial analysis, forecasting, insight generation, producing comprehensive market research reports, and conducting custom consulting projects for medical devices and healthcare markets.

The team consists of around 40 colleagues spread across India and reports to the respective team managers. We have a strong skill set in market research and consulting in the medical devices and healthcare markets, and we would love to speak with you if you have relevant skills or interest.

About You: Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

  • Graduate or Master’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or science with at least 5 years of relevant experience in primary market research, respondent recruitment, and data collection.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in written and spoken English, ensuring timely project delivery.

  • Excellent attention to detail and research skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience with related workflow environments.

  • A flexible and collaborative approach to work with well-developed expertise in market research methodologies or related job experience in the medical device or healthcare domain.

  • Ability to handle tight deadlines, support sales success, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently or within a team to produce high-quality deliverables.

  • Mature communicator capable of handling high-profile clients.

Language Skills:

  • For the Italian language position: Fluent in Italian.

  • For the Spanish language position: Fluent in Spanish.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had:

  • Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one area of the medical device market or related work experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP and effective data organization strategies.

  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing industry participants and related medical professionals.

  • Overseeing online and over-the-phone physician surveys.

  • Searching Clarivate's proprietary in-house research repository/library for relevant data.

  • Using financial, regulatory, and government documents to find key medical approval data.

  • Modeling and forecasting medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare markets, including:

    • Interpreting qualitative data into usable quantitative measures.

    • Using MS Excel and database programs to manipulate large amounts of data.

    • Identifying data trends and outliers using time-series tables and graphs.

    • Integrating numerical data points into tables and text.

    • Analyzing qualitative trends in various medical sectors.

    • Performing specialized research by medical technology or geographic region.

About the Team:

The Medtech team consists of data and subject matter experts responsible for delivering data products, syndicated market research reports, and conducting custom consulting projects related to medical device markets. The team harnesses real-world healthcare data, in-depth interviews, and a unique mix of in-house expertise to help medical device companies make critical business decisions. The team is spread across 3 locations: Toronto, Canada; Bengaluru, India; and Barcelona, Spain.

Hours of Work:

12 PM – 9 PM IST to maintain overlap with counterparts in Toronto and Barcelona.
