This job posting outlines the role of a Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) at Pfizer, focusing on raising awareness of ATTR-CM (Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy) and supporting patient identification and treatment across various healthcare specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Targeting Health Care Providers (HCPs): The AMS will work with healthcare providers in specialties such as hematology/oncology, neurology, primary care, and cardiology, especially in IDN/Health Systems and group practice accounts.
  2. Business Planning & Execution: Developing and executing sales business plans to increase disease awareness in the assigned territory, while collaborating with other teams to drive patient starts.
  3. Education & Relationship Building: The role requires educating HCPs about ATTR-CM, its diagnostic procedures, and treatment options. The AMS will also be responsible for building meaningful relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
  4. Sales Execution & Strategy: Utilizing advanced selling skills, tailoring messaging to customer needs, and using available resources to educate and engage the target audience.
  5. Collaboration & Coordination: Working with cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience and ensure seamless communication and resources for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (associate’s degree + 8 years, or high school diploma + 10 years).
  • Strong business planning and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use market/customer insights to inform sales strategy and execution.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in rare disease, cardiology, hematology-oncology, or neurology.
  • Product launch experience and familiarity with hospital systems.
  • Experience working with large academic centers.

Other Information:

  • Salary: $96,700 - $217,000, with quarterly sales incentives.

  • Travel: The role requires occasional travel, with 2-3 overnight trips per month.
