This job posting is for a Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) position at Pfizer, focusing on ATTR-CM (transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy) disease awareness and patient identification. The role involves targeting healthcare providers (HCPs) across multiple specialties including hematology/oncology, neurology, cardiology, and primary care in the Phoenix, AZ, and Tucson, AZ areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Planning & Execution:

    • Prioritize customer opportunities using data and insights to inform decision-making.
    • Develop territory business plans with clear objectives and performance metrics.
    • Maintain customer profiles and plans using company resources and tools.
  2. Advanced Selling & Relationship Building:

    • Utilize advanced selling skills to educate healthcare providers on ATTR-CM, diagnostic procedures, and Pfizer’s Vyndamax clinical profile.
    • Adapt messaging to meet customer needs in a complex selling environment.
    • Build relationships with stakeholders and drive disease awareness and patient recognition.
  3. Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Coordinate with other Pfizer teams to improve the customer experience and meet patient needs.
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to accelerate internal strategies.
  4. Business Acumen & Market Insights:

    • Gather insights from customers and market dynamics to anticipate opportunities and threats.
    • Use market data to inform sales planning and prioritize resource utilization.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Actively pursue learning opportunities and continue to develop interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must-Have:

    • 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an associate's degree with 8+ years or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing sales business plans.
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to apply market insights to sales planning.
  • Nice-to-Have:

    • Experience in Rare Disease or Specialty areas (Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Neurology).
    • Product launch or hospital sales experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically with 2-3 overnight stays per month.
  • Valid US driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $96,700 to $217,000 annually, plus quarterly sales incentives.
