What You Will Achieve

The Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) will primarily focus on raising disease awareness for ATTR-CM (Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy) and support patient identification and treatment. The AMS will engage with healthcare providers across specialties such as hematology/oncology, neurology, primary care, and cardiology, especially in health systems, group practices, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).

This individual will utilize business acumen to create sales business plans aimed at educating customers about ATTR-CM, driving disease awareness, and increasing patient starts in the targeted territories. The role will report to the Area Business Manager (ABM), and the AMS will collaborate closely with other Pfizer teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of business objectives.


How You Will Achieve It

  • Account Planning & Collaboration:

    • Prioritize customer opportunities and projects to maximize impact using available data and stakeholder input.
    • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and key performance metrics.
    • Maintain customer profiles and data sets to continuously evaluate and refine call planning.
  • Hybrid Execution & Advanced Selling:

    • Utilize advanced selling skills to adapt messaging according to customer priorities and territory needs.
    • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers while promoting Pfizer's brand and resources.
    • Provide disease education on ATTR-CM, diagnostic procedures, and the Vyndamax clinical profile.
    • Execute approved marketing programs and deliver compliant, compelling messaging.
  • Coordination & Business Acumen:

    • Coordinate with internal teams and SMEs to enhance the customer experience and meet their needs.
    • Gather insights from customers and apply them to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
    • Leverage market/customer data to inform territory plans and decisions.
  • Professional Development & Culture:

    • Pursue continuous learning and development to enhance personal and professional growth.
    • Embrace a team-oriented approach and share customer insights with colleagues to drive innovation.
    • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Experience: 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience).
  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute business plans, collaborate effectively, and apply market insights to drive sales.
  • Strong Teamwork: History of working collaboratively within teams and across departments.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market/customer insights and translate them into actionable sales plans.
  • Compliance: Consistently follows and supports company policies and regulations.

Nice-to-Have

  • Specialty Experience: Expertise in rare diseases, cardiology, hematology-oncology, or neurology.
  • Product Launch: Experience with product launches and hospital sales.
  • Academic and Hospital Systems: Familiarity with large academic centers and hospital systems.

Other Job Details

  • Non-Standard Work Schedule: 2-3 overnight trips may be required per month.
  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as needed.
  • Salary: $96,700 to $217,000 annually, plus quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
