Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Director of Statistical Programming to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our statistical programming function. You will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the statistical programming team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality programming deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with biostatisticians, data managers, and cross-functional teams to develop statistical analysis plans and programming specifications for clinical studies.
  • Oversee the programming and validation of analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in statistical programming to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., SAS) preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in statistical programming within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry, with significant leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing statistical programming teams, focusing on high-quality results and meeting project timelines.
  • Expertise in statistical programming languages such as SAS and R, with a thorough understanding of CDISC standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
