Position Overview
The Senior Director of Production Planning and Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of production planning, scheduling, procurement, and supply chain management within Enzene’s biosimilar manufacturing operations. This strategic role requires an expert with a proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and achieving operational excellence in a highly regulated environment. A deep understanding of SAP is essential for efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to align with customer demand while optimizing resource utilization. Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed for timely delivery. Collaborate with production, quality, and regulatory teams to resolve any scheduling conflicts.
  • Procurement: Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management. Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure a reliable supply chain.
  • Supply Chain Management: Lead the supply chain team in managing inventory, logistics, and distribution. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • SAP Utilization: Use SAP to streamline production planning, procurement, scheduling, and supply chain processes. Ensure accurate, up-to-date data in SAP for informed decision-making and reporting. Provide training and support for team members on SAP functionalities and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Set clear goals and objectives for the team and monitor performance to ensure achievement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in production planning, procurement, and supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biosimilar industry.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with SAP is required. Strong leadership, team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
