About the Role:
Indegene is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Omnichannel to lead the integration and adoption of omnichannel strategies within the U.S. Medical Affairs organization. This role is focused on enhancing the digital engagement between Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through innovative medical omnichannel initiatives. You will work in close collaboration with medical teams, digital teams, and IT to design, execute, and monitor omnichannel campaigns to elevate the HCP experience. This role also involves mentoring and training other digital medical leads to build expertise across the organization.


Major Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement an omnichannel medical approach that aligns with medical team goals and objectives.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute omnichannel initiatives that drive business impact.

  2. Campaign Design:

    • Partner with the Medical Affairs team to design omnichannel campaigns that drive HCP/KOL engagement.

    • Provide guidance on best practices for medical content structure and campaign execution.

  3. Campaign Execution:

    • Oversee the execution of omnichannel medical campaigns, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.

  4. Campaign Monitoring:

    • Use data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies to optimize results.

  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Learning:

    • Lead collaboration across medical, I2I, IT, and commercial teams, ensuring medical omnichannel efforts align with commercial initiatives.

    • Mentor and coach digital medical leads, sharing knowledge on omnichannel strategies and campaign execution.

    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the team's ability to leverage digital channels for scientific communications.

  6. Project Management:

    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of omnichannel medical campaigns with expected impact.

    • Ensure effective communication and task management within the team.

  7. Change Management:

    • Contribute to the behavioral shift toward omnichannel strategies within the medical teams.

    • Define the value proposition for omnichannel integration and communicate its benefits to medical teams.


Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Proven industry experience in the biotech/pharma space, specifically with omnichannel or digital engagements for medical.

  • Strong project management skills with experience navigating a matrix environment.

  • Expertise in digital technologies, data analytics, and medical communications.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work with digital and IT teams.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory and compliance requirements for medical information.

  • Strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging digital tools to drive medical education and engagement.

  • Experience with change management initiatives is a plus.
