Job Description:
Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure to support its Vascular division. This field-based role focuses on providing clinical education, sales support, and case coverage for vessel closure products. The specialist will work closely with physicians and hospital staff to ensure successful product use and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical expert for vessel closure procedures in hospital settings.
  • Provide case support and training for Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff on Abbott’s Vessel Closure portfolio (small and large bore arterial, venous, and future products).
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate how Abbott’s vascular products help achieve clinical goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital personnel and key decision-makers.
  • Provide clinical education through presentations and in-service training.
  • Attend Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room procedures to ensure successful product use.
  • Troubleshoot product-related issues and collaborate with sales, clinical research, and marketing teams for optimal solutions.
  • Support case coverage beyond the designated territory as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel 50% within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interacting with patients in a lab/operating room environment.
  • Relevant technical certifications.
