Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Operations Leader with in-depth knowledge in a specialist field. This role requires independent work with minimal guidance, as you will be recognized as an expert in your area. You will tackle complex problems and offer innovative solutions while providing leadership and support to your team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Foster team spirit and develop team dynamics, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Resource Management: Ensure adequate resources are allocated for assigned studies and manage the workload of team members effectively.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and codes of conduct.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the development and performance evaluation of team members, ensuring individual development plans are in place.
  • Feasibility Contributions: Contribute to high-quality feasibility assessments and improve study processes and procedures.
  • Coaching and Development: Plan and organize coaching sessions for team members to support their growth and development.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct individual performance planning and review processes for all direct reports.
  • Compensation Proposals: Collaborate with the responsible SMOT Director and HR partner to prepare salary and bonus proposals based on performance.
  • System Updates: Ensure that all systems are continuously updated and accurate.
  • Study Commitments Support: Provide direction on major study commitments and resolve any key issues identified.
  • Site Visits: Perform site visits to support ongoing coaching and development for direct reports.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Assist the SMOT Director in driving cross-team projects and enhancing organizational learning.

Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Education: University degree in biological sciences or a healthcare-related field, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Clinical Operations (CRA/Sr. CRA/LSM) or related fields.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build teams and develop organizational capabilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • IT Adaptability: Strong ability to learn and adapt to IT systems.
