Job Title: Senior Clinical Data Science Lead - Data Management

About the Role:
As a Senior Clinical Data Science Lead - Data Management, you will join the world’s largest and most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence. You will lead end-to-end data review activities in clinical trials, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data for analysis. Your responsibilities include providing input into clinical system development, managing clinical risk activities, and serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external teams regarding data review activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Review & Risk Management: Lead data review and risk management activities to ensure data fit for analysis.
  • Project Management: Track timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure project success, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Serve as the functional team lead for internal and external project teams.
  • Client & Vendor Collaboration: Work with clients, external customers, vendors, and departments to negotiate timelines and deliverables.
  • Forecasting & Revenue Recognition: Provide input on project-level revenue and resource forecasting.
  • Problem Solving: Use existing procedures to solve problems and make judgment calls when solutions are not immediately apparent.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Adapt communication styles to effectively deliver key messages to various stakeholders.

Functional Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of clinical data science activities, including data review, analytics, and clinical systems.
  • Working knowledge of project management, resource tracking, and financial metrics.
  • Understanding of clinical protocol content and data review requirements.

Leadership:

  • Strong leadership skills to guide the functional team and lead project delivery.
  • Contribute to a culture of process improvement and business value enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health or Science discipline with clinical research experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in clinical data science or a similar role.
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Travel:

  • Approximately 15% travel (domestic and/or international).
