Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will focus on business analysis for complex system implementations, integrations, and major initiatives. This role requires a strong ability to document system and process requirements across various scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in business analysis, engaging effectively with project stakeholders to document system configurations and project details while adhering to regulatory policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of relevant business processes and the software tools that support them.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for complex systems.
Process Modeling and Optimization: Conduct business process mapping, documentation, and optimization to enhance efficiency.
System Integration: Understand enterprise application integration (EAI) patterns and technologies, such as web services, APIs, and ETL.
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documents, including system architecture diagrams and user manuals.
Project Management: Familiarity with methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Change Management: Manage organizational change, including stakeholder communication and training.
Business Process Improvement: Identify and implement solutions for enhancing operational efficiency.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Analyze and address complex system challenges.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including business users and IT teams.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to system implementations and integrations.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Design and execute test plans to ensure integrated systems meet quality standards.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Regulatory and Compliance: Understand regulations impacting system design and implementation.
Business and Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific processes relevant to the organization.
Participate in quality control, testing, and verification processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education: Certifications related to business analysis in project management.
Experience: At least 5 years as a business analyst focused on system implementations and integrations.
Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

Education: College degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years as a business analyst specializing in system implementations and integrations.
Technology Skills: Familiarity with RPA, automation, big data, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
