Role Description Overview:

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Denials Processing, Claims Follow-up, and Customer Service. The role ensures that quality processes are followed by associates, client-specific and internal metrics are achieved, and provides coaching to employees. The QC Analyst will track and trend data for improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client calls to understand quality requirements and targets.

  • Collaborate with the operations manager/team manager to implement strategies to achieve quality targets.

  • Collect data on individual transactions (chart, claim, EOBs) related to errors.

  • Provide daily face-to-face feedback and send emails detailing errors.

  • Coach employees to minimize errors and improve performance.

  • Provide feedback to the training team to enhance training curriculum based on common mistakes.

  • Test files/batches for new clients or processes.

  • Generate QA reports on a daily basis.

  • Ensure attainment of Internal & External SLAs as per process definition.

  • Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1.5 years of professional and relevant experience.

  • Extensive experience in audits, coaching, and training as per process definitions.

  • Sound knowledge of healthcare concepts.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Strong critical problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.

  • Strong analytical and judgmental skills.

  • Must have good product and process knowledge.


This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare quality control, particularly in denials processing and claims follow-up. Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to coach and train employees are key to success in this position.
