Scientific Laboratory Technician - Pristima LIMS Administrator

About the Role:

As a Scientific Laboratory Technician at Boehringer Ingelheim, you will primarily work within the laboratory environment and immediate discipline, focusing on routine lab duties and conducting non-routine experiments using the Pristima LIMS system. This role also involves serving as one of the Pristima LIMS administrators, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine lab procedures independently and efficiently, including Pristima LIMS administration and troubleshooting.
Assist in the design and execution of non-routine experiments within Pristima LIMS with supervision.
Apply basic scientific principles and conduct literature searches to extract relevant information.
Create and store SEND datasets in the BI EDMS.
Interpret experiment outcomes and propose appropriate follow-up actions.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing, contributing to writing protocols, procedures, and technical reports.
Ensure data integrity and ethics in reporting and treating data.
Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in a related scientific discipline, or Master's Degree in a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of nonclinical development and familiarity with LIMS systems.
Ability to draft technical reports and SEND datasets is highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Appropriate understanding of applicable regulations.
Certification in Clinical Pathology (e.g., A.S.C.P. or equivalent) is highly desirable for Clinical Pathology roles.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience as a user of Pristima Application and familiarity with toxicology operations, study design, and conduct.

Compensation:

Base Salary: Typically between $75,000 and $147,000.
Role-specific variable or performance-based bonus may be eligible.
