Scientist I

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and lead initiatives to solve challenging scientific problems with assays or instrumentation.
  • Apply and interpret scientific theories, concepts, and regulatory requirements in clinical studies.
  • Provide technical consultation to scientific and operational staff.
  • Assist in troubleshooting flow cytometry assay transfers from validation to operations.
  • Provide technical training for validation and operational staff.
  • Participate in client visits, audits, and professional presentations.
  • Stay updated with the latest literature and industry trends.
  • Contribute to long-term planning and technical policies of the department.
  • Manage scientific vendor relationships to improve capabilities.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field preferred; M.S. with appropriate experience considered.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years post-doctoral experience in the relevant scientific area.
  • Strong expertise in flow cytometry and data analysis.
  • Proven track record in method development, research, and scientific reporting.
  • Experience with clinical laboratory automation, laboratory statistics, and system software.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
