About the Team: Antibody Team

The Antibody team focuses on engineering and developing antibodies with an emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. Core activities include antibody designing, purification, conjugation, and testing in a variety of immuno-applications using innovative tools and technologies. The program’s goal is advanced product development and the creation of product-specific information to promote research use.


Role & Responsibilities

Role:
You will be an integral part of the antibody development team, focusing on performance and specificity using molecular, protein, and cell biology methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meticulous experimental planning and execution to meet program goals.

  • Maintain timely and accurate records in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.

  • Regularly review literature to stay updated with developments in antibody development.

  • Compile and present data in both written and oral formats.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the exchange of ideas.

  • Ensure adherence to schedules with strong attention to detail.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Required: Master’s degree with 0-3 years of confirmed experience or a fresh PhD (submitted within the last year) in life sciences, with a focus on molecular biology, Next Generation Sequencing, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.

Nature of Experience:

  • Molecular Biology Techniques: Experience in PCR, primer and vector design, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction and analysis.

  • Next Generation Sequencing: Experience with sequencing platforms, library preparation, and handling sequencers. Experience with bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data and setting up analysis pipelines.

  • Immunoassays: Familiarity with ELISAs, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, and/or immunohistochemistry.

  • Antibody Development: Theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms is desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical software such as Prism. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with peers and leadership.

  • Self-motivated, a quick learner, and capable of applying new concepts for process and product improvements.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
